The peeps we’re gonna talk about in today’s post are doing just that. We realized that we don’t give enough love to our local partners, and they certainly deserve it. They are hustling every day to make sure you get the best product possible, while consistently nurturing connection within the Raleigh community and beyond. These companies take great strides to care for the planet, the community, and YOU, the consumer.
You see them in the shop everyday - on the shelves, in your cup, and on your spoon (sounds weird but you get where we’re going with this)…

The “premier purveyor of the highest quality North Carolina grown CBD.”
It was in Steph’s journey to find a way to heal herself from her chronic pain that she found her way to CBD. She wanted to help people access the healing properties of cannabis in the tastiest, purest way possible; thus ~ Medicine Mamas ~ was born.
Here’s what they have to say about their unique CBD products:
“Our CBD is derived from Industrial Hemp plants PROUDLY grown right here in North Carolina. CBD, also known as Cannabinol, is an active and natural compound located in the Hemp plant. CBD produces no psychoactive or intoxicating effects whatsoever. Our CBD comes from a Full Spectrum extract and does contain up to the legal limit of 0.3% THC. CBD works incredibly well because studies have shown that we have an endocannabinoid system within our bodies. Once our endocannabinoid receptors get the CBD they need, they work towards creating homeostasis. Basically, CBD, once in the body, enables all our body's systems to peacefully and properly function again.”

Founded in 2012 and operating out of the Northern sector of Raleigh, NC, Raleigh Coffee Company is not only changing lives with their incredible coffee, but with their active involvement in changing the community - and the world - at large. This is a company that REALLY cares about the integrity of their product and the satisfaction of their customers. As they say…

Outside of sourcing the best coffee, they sponsor their own “Bean Projects” - created to provide financial support to like-minded organizations around the world doing great work. These projects target issues like homelessness in Raleigh and trafficking in Haiti, among others.
When it came time to decide what coffee to use to make our Crack Coffee or our Almond Mylk Latte, you can see why the answer was obvious.

Easily one of THE coolest, nicest chicks you will ever meet, Madeline is also the mastermind behind Superfree Foods. She created her Superfree line to induce “anti-inflammatory living for humans with bodies.” In her discovery of the impact of nutrition on our physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual well-being, she sought to create products that supported this discovery and shared it with others (in the ~ tastiest ~ of ways).
At the shop, we carry her vegan raw no-cheese cheesecakes, super-free squares, and when we’re lucky, her raw maca macadamia butter.
You can check out her other options like the raw cacao truffles, overnight chia oats, and raw nocheese nocake tart on her website for special order. She even gives you the option to add in CBD!
P.s. I highly recommend checking out this doll’s blog. Her writing style is something I FAWN over on a consistent basis, and her sage-like wisdom gives me chills.

They use zero fruit juices or syrups in their kombucha, and I genuinely mean it when I say they don’t need them.
As a company, they care deeply about their product, their people, and the environment, and it shows.
